It is important that your privacy is respected and protected. This Policy describes how Pride Bolton collects and uses personal information. By submitting any personal information, personal and or sensitive data i.e. an application to host a stall or be in the parade to Pride Bolton , you agree to be bound by this Policy.
Who is Pride Bolton?
Pride Bolton is a not for profit Limited By Guarantee organisation that or organises a yearly festival for the LGBTQ+ community and delivers and may jointly take part in associated projects for the benefit of the LGBTQ + Allies community and wider audience to help reduce hate crime and help normalise acceptance of the LGBTWQ+ Allies community. We hope that our events will continue to encourage diversity and help tackle discrimination.
How do we collect information from you?
Your information will be obtained when you apply to take part in Pride Bolton's events, for example becoming a volunteer or applying for a stall or to be in the parade

The information that Pride Bolton collects might include your name, address and email address.
How is your information used?
Pride Bolton may use your information in order to:
- process any applications you have submitted
- list stall holders' organisations on publicity
- invite you to the following year's event
- help carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into by you and us
- seek your views on our events
- notify you of changes to our services
- To ensure Pride Bolton adhere to local and national safety and regulatory requirements i.e. set by the local authority.
How long is your information stored?
Pride Bolton reviews retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We will only store your information for as long as required in order to deliver our event. We will store information about all applications for up 5 years or less after they are submitted, and then they will be automatically deleted.
Who has access to your information?
Pride Bolton will not sell, rent or share your personal information to third parties without your explicit consent, unless we are required to do so by law, for example, by a court order or for the purposes of prevention of fraud or other crime. For the purpose of this event only official committee members will have information to personal details as necessary.
Lists of the organisation names submitted by stall holders may be included in our publicity i.e. to say thank you and help raise awareness.
What are your choices?
You will not receive direct marketing communications from Pride Bolton without your prior consent.

Deleting your data
You have the right to withdraw your consent for Pride Bolton to store your information. If you would like us to delete all information stored about you, please let us know by emailing our Data Protection Officer at contat@pridebolton.co.uk
When Personal data is deleted, it will be done so securely, and any copies on paper will be shredded.
