What do I get as a volunteer?

Depending on your role you can expect the following but to name a few..

🌟 Depending upon your experience and any transferable skills you may already have, you may be gain training that can be used to help you in future career or personal life goals.

🌟 You will be given the training / guidance needed to carry out your role

🌟 A work shift rota with breaks and a manager to guide you

🌟 Lunch / water provided over the festival weekend

🌟 Weekend volunteers will be given a hoodie or T-shirt to wear on the days you volunteer

🌟 You will be given a team lanyard or wristband to wear that will grant you access to your area or relevant areas of the festival 

🌟 You will get a High Visibility Jacket to wear in the parade and on each shift.

🌟 All our volunteers that may come into contact with members of the public including vulnerable adults including  children may require a DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service)
